help out a n00b to intel

recently i did a fresh install on my bros computer and i noticed that his comp maybe isn't as fast as it used to be

i installed xp sp1 and vid card drivers and that's about it

could someone point me where i should download chipset drivers for his board?

the board is an Intel D845BG, 1.7ghz cpu
