Look at the back of the card where the monitor is plugged in. Is there another blue connector to plug into?

it also depends,, on the version,, like the gforce mx 220, vs the 440, the 440 could do dual while the ti's can do 1 or the other... even if the connectors are there.,

The ATI cards you can use the DVI > VGA adaptor to run 2 VGAs I thought.

Most likely incorrect though.

I'm pretty sure the 9600 supports dual monitors. A good way to check is if in your display properties it shows a primary and secondary video adaptor, and there is a picture of two monitors. One will probably be greyed out since it's not in use.

ati sells them on their site - and your local compuetr sotre should have them a DVI - VGA adapter.

This should do the trick, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3459563987&category=3668
Though the GFX card should have came with one. I know my 9500pro OEM did.

Forget ebay, check it:

Also, not all cards with both DVI and VGA outs come with adaptors. A lot of bargain cards cut every corner, even leaving out an $8 item.
