Installed CLC ver. 3.03 now i can't transmit!!

Well the title pretty much says it. I was running version 3.08 and just DLed the 3.03 client. Turned off SETISpy/Driver, deleted ver 3.08 and set the 3.03 as the new file. now my production has gone up but my WU's won't transmit. What have i missed? Is there a way to get it working without having to delete/fresh install? Any help is greatly appreciated.


I just tried to transmit and it reads-- gethostbyname: No such file or directory
Can't connect to server; will retry in an hour.

Did i install 3.03 incorrectly?

i get that when the servers down but im uploading fine so it cant be that

how much faster is the 3.03 to the 3.08 coz im running the 3.08 on all 5 comps

I heard that 3.03 is about 15-20 mins faster than 3.08....

24WU to transmit and still its not working...im gonna be bummed if i have to delete and do fresh install

Copy all the #ed folders with the finished wu's in them to a temp directory. Don't copy anthing else like the seti files in the main folder. Reinstall seti and then exit out of it. Copy all the #ed folders back over and try that. Whatever you do i wouldnt delete 24 finished wu's!
