what does it happen to the L1 and L2 caches when a CPU is overclocked? Do they also get overclocked? Can be caused any damage in the caches with FSB higher than the original one?
What if the orig FSB is kept and only the multiplier is modified, r the caches speed or anyother thing also modified?
thanks.

Yes they get overclocked as well as the cpu.
Depending upon the cpu type the cache can run at 50% of the cpu speed or the same speed or some other amount.
Some cpu's such as the older p2 were usually limited for overclocking because of the cache they had rather than the cpu core.

when only the multiplier is modified do the caches speed also change?
