what is the bit in the bios that controls this?
can someone fill me in please , I have an Asus CUSL-2
any help much appreciated.
Should be a place in the BIOS for RAM timing. Look for CAS latency time or something like that.

you may not be able to.........not all mobo's give you the option to set them individually.

now im running at 960mhz rock solid and fps seem good , I will benchmark tonight and see how I go.
Thanks for the link to the bios tweaks.

I have this board (well the CUSL2). If your having problems running your ram at cas2 then try changing the cpu:memory:pci ratio to 133:100:33. This will allow you to increase your fsb past your previouse high (if ram was your bottleneck that is) and keep it cas2. Cas2 @ 100 out performs cas3 @133. Thats how I run my setup usually. It allows me to bring the fsb up so high that the memory speed ends up back around 133 and I am able to still run cas2.
