Ok, I've searched the forums and couldn't find an answer, so I'll ask this here... (Talking 'bout the rig in my sig)
My LanParty 865PE board was able to OC my 2.6C just fine when I was using the 80GB PATA drive as my boot drive. I have since made my SATA Raptor the boot drive (XP Pro).
Now, whenever I try to increase the FSB, the Raptor isn't detected by the BIOS.
(I locked the AGP/PCI/SATA clock @ 33/66/100)
I have the On-Chip Serial ATA set to Auto... does that make a difference?
POST shows...
IDE Channel 1 Master = PATA drive
IDE Channel 2 Master = DVD±RW
IDE Channel 2 Slave = CD±RW/DVD-ROM
IDE Channel 3 Master = SATA Raptor (Non-OC'ed)
IDE Channel 3 Master = None (OC'ed)
Any ideas, anyone? Angry_Games, somebody, anybody? Help!
