It's not quite stable yet. Have you tried 1.9v yet? Maybe a PCI card getting flakey? Maybe need better RAM?

It could be your generic ram. I had some pc 100 that didnt like running at 100mhz.
1.85 is a bit too much for 850 isnt it. mine runs at 1.7 @850 and I have a cBO in an Iwill Slotkit.

It might also be your voodoo 3 card. I know my 16 meg tnt card is going to die soon.

sounds just like my system except I lowered my FSB to get stability i'm sure my problem is a lack of CV because if i turn CV down PC locks up in games but not seti, sisandra, or anything else turn CV back up no problem's.

you said you have burned in for hours and hours give it some more time burning in maybe for days [chips burn in at different times]

i have an old NIC and a new philips sound card. have you hear of any problems with either of these?

how could it be a pci card problem or ram. i thought about that but the ram and pci are running at specifications. 100mhz and 33mhz

Hey mike just thought of something do you have sideband disabled in your registry? I disabled mine and was able to overclock higher to get to were I am at now if your pushing your system it may help.

well i put some better ram in and seems to be fine, ran a game for a loooong time. sweet. so i bumped it up to 110 fsb and its flying at 932mhz. time to go for the 1 ghz club.

The NIC is a network card, right? Most network cards are notorious for not liking a lot of overclocking. But, I don't specifically know about NIC. Try pulling that one card out and giving it a go. Good luck.

I just reread your post. At 100 FSB, the PCI bus should be in spec if you have a 1/3 divider, so maybe it's not a card after all.

You disable sideband in your registry you can find dirrections to do this in the tips section [videocards]

It is probably a problem with pci or agp.

if your PCI/AGP buses are in spec, and your drivers are up to date....

don't forget to check your memory! if your RAM is generic it might be flaky...if you have a friend with a GENUINE, NAME BRAND PC133 DIMM ask him if you can pop it in for a bit and test it out. i had a hell of a time trying to figure out why I was locking my rig up...it turned out to be a generic PC100 DIMM that couldn't even do 100mhz FSB...

PCI or AGP problems are out of the question as far as I can see.
At 100MHz FSB the PCI is running at 1/3 which is then 33MHz, which OK, overclocked or not.

About the memory... I use 2 x generic 128MB's of memory. which runs at a max of 105 here. Never have any problems with that, so I think that is kinda bull too.

I can run my 566 @ 850 at 1.7Vcore perfectly stable, but must say I have a 52W Peltier and a GlobalWin FKP-32 cooler.
So, what kind of cooler do you use? Just the stock fan? Could be enough, but then again couldn't be either.

These are my 2 Dutch cents
