Where is the southbridge on the P4C800-E??

Can someone please tell me where is the southbridge on the P4C800-E deluxe board??? Since I keep on losing my onboard lan when I overclock my CPU, and when I restart my comp, lan is back again, keep happening randomly. Do U think I need to cool my southbridge down?? Since I know the southbridge control all the PCI devices.

i plan to in the near future when ever i buy the sata hds i'm going to remod that mobo

It's the big black chip towards the bottom of the board on the side closest to your optical drives. Adding a heatsink may help give it a shot or buy a soundcard. HTH...Trapper

My sb chip dont have hsf but my pc has been running for like 9 months straight w/o turning it off so i doubt if its the sb chip :D
