No question is stupid, only answers are...

FSB stands for Front Side Bus.

This is in fact the bus speed of your CPU socket.
This i the speed your CPU comunnicates with your motherboard.

If you should use the FSB for overclocking you should keep in mind that overclocking your FSB means overclocking every component in your pc, like for example pci bus. And a lot of components don't like a too high pci bus...

so be carefull... overclocking the front side bus too much can make your devices do strange things; for example make your harddrive mess things up very hard... you are a warned person...

true... but the FSB is really the juicy stuff for overclocking the system. FSB is good 4 u. When I say good, then it is good. just overclock your FSB and you'll be happy.

Just a suggestion=> Stick with this forum, and you'll learn a lot. When I just came I knew nothing about overclocking except for that you have to give it more voltage (I know I was a bit wrong, but thats all I knew)... Now I've overclocked my Celeron 600 to 900, and I''m going further.

and DO post any of your questions before you do something, screwing up might cost you... unless you've got lots of money and you can buy any hardware you want.

So just read the forums and learn...

Good luck!
