ok, heres the story, i have 2 Corsair CMX512-3500C2

In cpu-z it says that i have 2 Corsiar DDR-SDRAM PC3200 - 512 mb

the timings are

Frequency- 161.9 mhz
FSB: DRAM- 3:2
CAS# Latency- 2.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay- 3 clocks
RAS# Precharge- 3 clocks
Cycle Time (Tras)- 7 clocks

my computer specs are....

Hardware:
Pentium 4, 2.8 ghz, HT
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
1 Gig Corsair XMS pc3500
Gainward ti4600, 128 mb ram
WD 36 gig Raptor, 10,000 RPM, 8mb cache, sata
WD 80 gig Special Edition, 8mb cache
SB Audigy 2 ZS
ATI TV Remote Wonder Pro,
ATI Remote
Linksys Wireless Network Card, (B)
Sony 8x/4x/32x cd burner
Sony 48x/24x/48x/16x cd burner/DVD player

I just updated my bios to 1015 for the asus mobo,

anyhelp with what is wrong with the ram, and the timings would be helpful, also i have my 2.8 ghz clocked to 3.4 ghz,

PLEASE HELP!!!! thanks
 
hehehe dont panic, ok.. in cpu-z u shows u dimm1-4 u only see one 512 since ur on dual chan, try scrolling to dimm2 coz im sure u only see dimm1 right now :)
 
My dads rig using pc3500 and pc4000 both say pc3200 in cpuz. Both sticks are retail bought hyper-x so no scam was involved.
 
kingpickle, wait.. what mobo u using? coz i think the mobo only supports up to pc3200 unless u run it by 5:4?
