I'm think about getting one to OC myself. Any comment?

The 700 is the best intel chip for overclocking at the moment, they almost always get to a 133mhz fsb for 933mhz and quite often get to higher fsbs like 150mhz for over 1ghz on a bx board you will need to be quite lucky with that geforce card to get the high agp bus needed, luckily nvidia cards are the best for this, I had a tnt2 that would do a 133mhz fsb so you should be fine at 90-100mhz for the agp bus

I have 7 of them all at 1GHz- 4 on 2 VP6s, 2 on an MSI 6904D-AR and 1 on a BF6. Some are cb0 and others are cc0.
Meaning that if I get it 'right now', more than 95% will go 900+MHz right? If that so, I'm happy.

1050 and Up if you get the lucky chips. But dont come n find bust my arse if you can't get it to overclock to 1050+ though, =0
900+ or 1000MHz is good enough, if it will do.
Is right now the right time to buy it or wait for few more weeks?
Yep, can't go wrong with the P-III 700, like was said, the vast majority of them will do 933 meg to 1 gig. Love mine, but I got an exceptional chip. Now is a great time to buy, in my opinion.

A friend ordered a pretested 700 w/ run's happily at 933. He hasn't really pushed anything higher yet as he doesn't have the greatest cooling. I've read and heard great stuff about that chip.
Got my cB0 SL45Y PIII 700 FC-PGA last June. I ran it at 970 MHz for a while, but it's been at 994 MHz for most of the time. The core has been at 1.95V with an Alpha PEP66 keeping it at 34C max. The chip is rock stable. I'm getting two more for a dual rig I'm building next week. I'm paying less for the two than I paid for the original one last year. But I'm not complaining since it's run crash free for 10 months now overclocked to just shy of 1 GHz.
BTW, I've had it at 1050 MHz, but it's kinda flukey. It'll run most stuff at 1011 MHz, but I keep it at 994 MHz because it never crashes at that speed.
Okay, ... the 700 is probably the best oclocker in more than one way, BUT ...
The database reveals that the percentage that crack 900 is a bit less than 95%, actually a little over 86.6% (556 of 641), ... and you expect people that succeed to want to announce it, but those that do not are probably not as quick to post their result, so these collections of data may skew the actual percentage a lot in the direction of higher success rates than actually occur.
Generally the faster the rating, the higher the percentage of database posts that announce reaching the higher speeds. For instance, a little over 26.5% of the 700's reach 1000 (170 of 641), while many fewer than 50% of the 600's go even to 900. However, 41.5% of the 800's (59 0f 142) go to a gig (and if you include 990+, the numbers go to 54.2%), with only 4 of 142 failing to reach 900.
Even the much maligned 750 has better than 40.7% (33 of 81) at a 1000+, ... again reflecting the database's suggestion that the faster the rating, the higher the percentage at faster speeds.
None of this takes in to account the faster fsb speeds available to the 700, or, for that matter, the even faster fsb available to the ???eb's, in general.
Dollar for dollar, the lower rated chips are the best buy, if you get lucky, but below 800, the prices are about the same or upside down in some cases (lower rated chips costing more than higher rated chips).
Buying a low rated guaranteed oc' chip threads the narrow line between the price of higher rated chips and the non-guaranteed low rated chip. You can lose the margin in the shipping or the manufacturer's guarantee.
Which chip is best?? Well, it seems to me you have to define your terms to answer that.
Heck, if you can wait, you may get a 1 gig for the price of a 700 before long ... ahh, but who can wait? I couldn't.
