my power supply unit now is a 230 I am running a p3700at1015,128 megs a ram muskhin rev3, globalwin vos 32 , i slot fan gf2 gts card with a be62r2 motherboard , sometime when i turn my pc on it wont turn on until i hit the reset button in the back and hold the turn on button in . it driving me nuts

If you have major drives like CD writer/ DVD , etc.., you might want to stick with at least 250watt or 300watt PSU. 300watter would insure feeding plenty of power and for the future. 230 might be do-able with low power consuming P3 chips, but depends what other stuff you have in the rest of your system.
I only have a 230W and I am starting to feel the strain from my cel600@1.01ghz with a load of fans and pci cards, soon as I have the dosh I thinking of getting a nice poweful enermax
