Mike:

I have exp. the problem you mention. In my case, it was almost always an issue of not enough voltage to the CPU. In most cases, bumping up the voltage a notch in the BIOS would solve the problem.

Can you provide a little more input. What was your voltage? Are you using good memory?

voltage is 1.88v.
using iwill II slocket.

Using the slocket, you can def, get yourself a little more juice. I run my slocket (same board as yours but a little newer) at 1.75v so that I'm able to use the BIOS to go up to 1.95v when at 10%.

I have to run 1.95 to get anything above a gig. try upping your volts to 1.9 and give run do what you normally do. See if the random reboots disappear. Good luck

i used to have the same problem, i had
a burner
dvd
2 harddrives
celeron @ 1.9volts
GeforceMX
sound card
2 NIC's
LOTS of fans

i fixed the problem by adding a second PSU
2x250 watts of power.
now with 500 watts i dont get that problem, and it is very easy to hock 2 PSU's uptogether.

So does hooking up 2 PSU together give you a little more CV or VIO or is just suppling enough power where there was a lack of power to begin with before?

I had a compaq that rebooted randomly but only when on line and it was just a bad software modem driver may not be your problem but thought I throw it in just in case you find youself out of angles.

ok so you caught me there, it is not the exact same as 500Watts, or is it?

i have one PSU supplying the motherboard and PCI, AGP, some fans and the other does my hard drives(2) , CD-R, DVD, and some fans

but they are hocked-up together, the on/off anyways :)
and it did help me as my PSU's and not being overloaded anymore.
like i said, it is very easy to do, takes under 30 min and your power problems(mine anyways) will be over

I was talking about my experiances with this in another thread. The prob I was having was I was running my memory at 133. Well it was 133 memory and my board is SUPPOSE to support it. but I would get RANDOM restart at any given point. Weather I was on the net or Benching or just gaming. Setting my memory back to 100 made it ROCK stable again. I hope this helps.

Clock on
