I'll get a mobile 2500+ and some new ram.

It will be either Buffalo ch-5 or Twinmos ch-5 pc3200 512.

Now, either I choose 2 x 256 mb sticks and I benefit of dual channel or I get one stick of 512 that will allow me to get more fsb with agressive timings.

I know that dual channel offer only minimal performance boost and its probably not noticable in real world application.

What would be the best option...?
I would like to hear your opinions

thanx

I'd get the two 256MB sticks, run them in DCDDR and overclock as high as possible then put them in single channel and overclock it again to determine much DCDDR hampers your overclock.
