Using xp professional sp1. Did all the updates, now I have to click my username to enter windows. How do I get it back so it automatically goes into windows when it boots?

click start> run
then type
control userpasswords2
under the "users" tab, uncheck "users my enter passowrd to login"

hey, when i cick start>run> and type control userpasswords2 nothing happens

Just go to user accounts control panel, select the user then select remove password.

No option to remove password exists

start - settings - control panel - user accounts - change the way users log on and off - uncheck use the welcome screen
