Thanks for the post dunno. I would love one of those p3 700s, from what I have read they are great chips. Unfortunately my mb will only accept up to a 600 p3 or a celeron 700, so the p3 700 is not an option. From what I have read it seems like the 566 is the best of the bunch from the celeron II lineup for overclocking, and for $70.00 it seems like a pretty good deal.

mobos can often handle more than they say. my mobo is said to only handle P2s up to 450 MHz, but can actually handle any P3 aswell if it only got 100 MHz FSB.
If your mobo can do 133 MHz FSB you could probably get a Giga-system easily.

i have abit bx6 rev1
if u check abits website abit bx6 supports up to 800 mhz
but i can get my celeron 566 to 850 and can even support p3 1gig(but posts only 933mhz)

There should be a bios update, I flashed mine (Abit VA6) and it only handled up to P3 850, now handles anything up to 1 Ghz. This should not be an issue, don't believe everything you read on manufacturer's sites!
