Passing the 2300mhz mark? HELP PLz.

How much do you think my Motherboard is holding me back?
I really like my motherboard and can't afford to replace it or really want to but I think that's the only thing holding me back. I can not break 2300mhz will Fail Prime or Blue screen with BurnK7.

I have a Giga-Byte GA-7N400-L and lots of nice toys to go with it. Good CPU Stepping from what I hear and nice Video to fill up that APG slot.

I thought my 5v was low and was going to get some parts to fix that.. checked that and its 5.07v on Mosfets and my PSU is 5.08v so ATX connector not an Issue. 3.3v was 3.28 and 12v was 11.9v but I think that should be fine, not sure why my brand new SL450 is a little low.. but the one I had the day before (sl400) was 12.02v so that isn't the issue either.

ALSO.. I have already added a Vantec Copper to NB (Lapped w/1200g) and Passive SB Frag Taped on.

Verify your temp with new BIOS revision (F5 - F6 - F7).

Dropline, keep an eye out there is an new F8 Bio's but its being fixed right now for bugs. So go with the F7 for now i got it and never had a problem with it.

I think I fried one of mine trying to Volt Mod it.

did you need to Mod anything to get it to work? I trying to get VDiimm upto 2.9v for my Mushkins.

Well.. I am 99% sure the 2nd PC is Fried.. that kinda sucks being it wasn't my PC. Oh well I will deal with her tomorrow.

I Updated my machine to F7 and same thing will not go over 2300mhz I hope I have not hit this chips limit. If so I can always try the Locked 2500+ in her machine.

Also on Temps +15c with F7 across the board.

Running my pro2 at 2.4ghz (11x218). I wish the voltage would go higher. I passed memtest,prime95 (16hours), and sandra burn in wizard. I fail all 3 at 219 fsb. Whats funny was my MSI KT6 Delta ran 12x223 with timings at 2.5-2-2-7 perfectly fine. Man the voltage setting were awesome on that board. Too bad it wasn't on a Nforce2 ultra.

Mine seems to act strange at 11x anything over 200mhz I think my CPU is maxed out. My locked Barton on Girlfriends PC was doing 11x217 last night but her cooler is just a modded stock Ajiki one that ships with 3200+ from AMD so it got too hot too fast to test it much.

Quick question, Do you benifit from running PC4000 ram? I thought the Pro2 boards run off 400MHz FSB...Doesnt the PC4000 run at a higher FSB setting than that? Also I have a AMD 3000 which WILL NOT go over 214 x 11 with mushkin pc3200 400MHz ram, maybe it is the ram????
