This I think will last a while because of the AMD price reductions. The OEM version was $79 the other day and now it's $77, about a $5 difference between the OEM and retail versions, which is the what they have been on newegg.

all the athlon xp' have droped the 2800 is now $125 for the retail. i got it for $145 lil over a month ago

I didn't know about the AMD price drops. With the way newegg changes prices daily (hourly?) you'd better buy now if you find a deal. Odds are it'll be higher next time you look at it. Otherwise I've been happy with newegg.

i still think i would rather go with the mobile 2500+ if i was going to overclock, ppl with those cpus have been posting good numbers on their overclock.

last i checked they were about 90 for an oem
