If I use a slotket (the msi6905) will I still be able to set the cpu fsb and voltage thru the bios if I want?

I use the Abit Slotket !!! and am able to to change all BIOS settings for FSB and voltage.
I have the slotket set for cpu default.

you should be able to do those things in the bios still but I would recomend setting the voltage on the slocket as this is usually more stable and has more options usually

Dave, what chip are you running, at what FSB and vcore settings??

I've been reading a lot of bad things concerning the Abit !!! slocket lately, and have stopped recommending them. Most of the problems stem from instability, and I've heard a lot of people say when the replaced the Abit with another brand, they've achieved a higher overclock, with no other changes made.

The MSI mentioned earlier is a good unit, and I personally use a Soltek SL02A++, that I've had no troubles (up to 117 FSB) with.

I've got a system here I've built for a friend, that has a C600 @945 (105 FSB) that's mounted on the Abit !!!.....no problems with this myself, but I've read a lot of things that others have had nothing but grief.
