Have you read the manual? Really?
Hard to say without knowing what your alternatives are. Usually you'll need to set it to DCV or ACV, and a suitable range. The range should be the lowest one that covers what you want to measure. To use my multimeter to measure those voltages I would set it to 0-20 DCV.
(If you want to measure AC you must find out if it shows you the peak voltage or the effective voltage.)
Post a picture of it and I will tell you exactly what you need to set it to.

Exactly what I was going to say.
Read the manual! ;)
