Go with the 700. The 733 is limited because your board only goes up to 133mhz FSB so you stuck at 733 or lower. The 733 has a FSB of 133 and a multiplier of 5.5.
The default FSB of the 700 is 100mhz with a multiplier of 7. If you go with the 700 and overclock it you should be able to get 933 out of it(133mhzFSB).
If you do not plan to overclock at all go with the 733 because of the higher memory bandwidth.
If you are go with the 700.

The 700E cCO is the "king" of overclocking. These chips love to overclock. You should be able to get 933 with stock cooling and with some good cooling and the right components hitting a gig should be very obtainable.

them both as advantages and disadvantages and they're about equal. However, with a FCGPA, you can get a Slotket and Slot1 mobo so you'll have more Vcore voltage option meaning it is possible you can overclock further than the ones without Slotkey.

The 700E is the best p3 for overclocking it is not the king of overclocking, that is currently AXIA and AVIA tbrids and will probabally be the palamino whenit is released in desktop form. He won't hit a gig with his board as he said it can only go to 133mhz and if he was to replace the board then I wouldn't recomend a p3 at all, I would recomend to wait for desktop plamino's and the Iwill k266-r motherboard which will probabally get 1.5-2ghz (seeing as no one has done this yet

flip chip is better for one because you can find more hsf's for cheaper now. I see no reason not to go flip chip.

As the very wise Mr Phil stated........
"Flip chip just means that the cpu die is on the upside of the cpu substrate, and the SECC 2 Coppermines are still flip chips as if you look at them the chip core is top side"
Socket 370 chips as well as Slot 1 chips are all flip chips. SECC is the slot 1. Stands for Single Edge Something Something....... =)

Don't do something foolish, get the 700, for me this thing hit 933 with a stock heatsink and fan, I had to fiddle a bit with the slotket adapter settings and then my flip chip was up and running. Let me say, its a real hard worker.
Ideally you want a cCO fc-pga p3 700 a good heatsink and fan (Global Win WBK 38 is what I recomend maybe replacing the fan for a 47cfm ys-tech 80mm) and a slocket capable of voltage selection, preferably an asus, abit or Iwill
