$299 Minus $70 instant saveings, Plus a $30 mail in rebate. = $199.
This is for a Built By ATI Retail box with all the goodies.
Not a bad deal if you ask me.

There are too many Video Card's to pick from.

Please get the 9800pro. I have both cards and can honestly say the 9800pro whoops my xt by almost 50% In games at same settings. You wont regret it one bit.
Also, 256mb vid ram is not needed, actually its a bit slower than the 128mb versions of any card. Well except maybe the 9800XT.
If you can get it, Go for the 9800pro. In the end you will Never regret that decision. The 9600xt is a great card, But if you want to get the most out of your games(assumeing you play any) Your Gonna see a pretty big difference between the 2 cards.

BF1942 is an awesome game. It looks so Real on this 9800 with everything turned to quality and 6xaa and 19xaf its unreal. If you really want a great looking game thats a blast to play single or online, pick up call of duty. Im so addicted i Play 5 hours a night LOL. Its the best game ive played in a long time.

OMG you will see such an improvement it ,,,,,,, I cant even describe it man. CoD and BF will look like totally different games when you upgrade. If you can afford it, get the 9800. Seriousely, Its going to be even more profound than Night and day.
CoD with some of the new maps like Valley, is By Far the best WW2 Shooter ive ever played. And the online play is so sweet. LOL Im a 38Year old CoD addict , Please help LOL.

axhed, I would take the item in for an exchange, i dont see why they would have a problem with that.
Any idea how long this deal will last? I have $160 just need a little more to get this
i installed it and it sure as heck is a 9800 pro... got it clocked up to 400/750 and scored 17568 in 3dmark2001.

I just got mine today, last one in the store. I also purchased the 1yr CompUSA warranty. I told the store manager that I planned to overclock it and push it to the max, and he told me it's still covered no matter what goes wrong with it. Great insurance policy for an extra $25!

get the extra warrenty. Ive gotten 2 steering wheels replaced and it only cost me the extra 7 dollars for the warrenty.
And your right. they will either give you the same card, Or the purchase price towards a something else. BUT they will take 2 days to get around to making sure the card is broke before they will give a cash refund.
Its all good, And ENJOY the card. Please post back with results. IE: Stock clocks and scores and Overclock and scores. Im very curiouse.

This is a great deal. I got my 9800 NP for $199 a couple of months ago from CC and I have it OC'ed to almost Pro speeds (410 Core, 325 Mem) and it rocks. Go for the PRO!!! It will have Samsung ram which OC's better than my Infenon.

They will price match the rebate as long as it is a retailers rebate and not a manufactures rebate. You need to have an Ad that gives details.

The 9800NP has 3.3ns ram on it And its usually Infineon ram. I couldnt put my finger on the difference between the two yesterday LOL. The daytona 500 had me thinking a bit slow LOL.
