View Full Version : Pelt efficiency
When you guys refer to pelts as being inefficient are you saying that they flat out dont cool well as compared to a water chiller or are you saying that compared to the energy used a chiller is more energy efficient.

What do you mean by a water chiller? You can use pelts to chill water...
I can tell you that pelts are pretty energy inefficient. At a 226 watt heatload, a 226 watt peltier's coldside will be the same temp as its hotside. It will consume 364.8 watts of power to do this. (15.2v * 24a)
