View Full Version : What happens if I put 133MHZ in SLOTKET and 100MHZ in BIOS? What determines the PCI frequency?
The LAST hope to O/C my system @ 133.
The slotket settings should override your bios settings.
I have some (but not much) experience with the slotket,
but never played with the jumpers, I simply set the Abit
to overclock, coppermine, and adjusted my VA6 FSB to
the desired frequency (100 mhz in my case...)
Why is this your last chance??

Slocket should dictate the setting. Most have settings for: Auto, 66, 100, 133. If there's no auto...then I'm not sure but... I use mine a lot but for voltage changes and not FSB options. Good luck
In other words, this will not make my CPU to run @ 133, while other system will run @ 100 ?
