a7n8x (non dlx) and 6 ch audio

hi guys. posting this for my brother. he has an asus a7n8x non deluxe rev 1.04 (only 3 audio jacks). bios 1001E. he recently bought 5.1 spkr set. what software does he need to enable 5.1, (realtek codecs, nvidia control panel ) what plugs in to where. something about mic and linein? also he uses ati all in wonder 7500 for tv. where does the audio hook up if sppkr using mic jack? does the AIW 7500 have another audio connection (ie. on card itself to mobo header? what nvidia drivers would be best. have searched forums and also nforcers forums. have another post there now but not getting alot of response.(has everyone gone to the deluxe board?) really need some input. thank you...
