N8X RAM size Question

I have heard that the dual channel DDR technology simply does not work if more than 1 gigabyte of RAM is installed in most nforce boards. If I can find unregistered non-ECC RAM of the 1 gigabyte size and of PC-3200 or PC-3000 (running an XP3000 333 so PC-3200 really isn't needed) I want to install two one-gig sticks into the dual channel sockets.

I know the board is slated to support up to 3 gigs of RAM, but will the dual channel work with two gigs installed?

i think that it will run in dual with 2gig ra instaled
