Can someone explain this?

I reset my cmos and now windows boots up way faster than it used to... i haven't noticed any errors so im not complaining, but why would it do that?

You mean you reset the bios to default settings? Well mabye you've done some cutom settings in the bios that might have not worked correctley and after the normal bios settngs it might have been corrected. It's pretty hard to say how exactly it can happen but hey after all stan03 now you be happy:D
