I have a 200GB Seagate Barracuda HDD on WinXP Pro. In the original format I did not have SP1 so XP would only detect my 200GB drive as a 127GB drive.
I have since then aquired SP1 and I know there is a Microsoft program that can do this, but I can't find it, what is it called?
Thanks for your help

Go into the control panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management. This should show you your HD's and allow you to delete/create/format partitions.

I don't need to make a partition, I need to reset my HDD's size.
If you install Windows XP without SP1 or above, it will only support HDD's up to 127 GB, so if you have a bigger HDD like mine, then it will only show up as a 127 GB.
There is a program created by Microsoft to correct this, it was mentioned in my HDD's CD, but I can't go back to that because I'd have to format first, and I just finished getting everything back in order from my previous HDD, which took about 2-3 hours.
So basically I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of/used this program, and could give me the name and location of it.

I found out what I needed to know. For those of you who are having this same problem, you need to use a "partition stretching" program. This can be found at your HD manufacturers website, or you can use a third party program.
