I just found this software. I was wondering if it worked and if its safe. I am just kind of scared to try it dont know what it does.

I understand, that is all i have used also but i saw it and wondered. Maybe this works better(dont see how) but was just wondering about it
yeah, i think they work, but you have to have them running to get the oc, which is kind of annoying and steals memory and such. when i first stated overclocking, i used gigabytes easytune software to determine if the oc was stable, then i would change it to the setting that worked in the bios

Ive always used the Bios to OC, ive always heard that in windows i amy become unstable faster
But to give it a try i just tryed to to see what it would do and all i can oc is my AGP it wont let me move my FSB on there
i think it should be about the same coz software changes ur bios settings but only temporary.... right? :D
Overclocking in you BIOS is better. Software is mostly usefull when BIOS overclocking options are not present. And no, it does not change the settings in the BIOS, just the settings while it is running (usually by modifing PLL settings, I think through chipset refisters, though I could be incorrect).

Software for overclocking does work but if you are looking for the best results do it throught bios. Many people don't trust software.

This makes sense because when i overclock it becomes unstable while loading windows or the evil Prime 95
