Ok here's the deal. About 30-40 minutes ago a friend of mine IMed me whining and complaining that his monitor is crapped out. So I went over to his house to check it out. Well as it turns out his vid card fan had failed and the card burned out

Here's the real problem: he bought the card from NewEgg a little over 4 months ago which is about 1 month too long for getting a replacement/refund, atleast from what I understand. Anyway, my question is what would be the best course of actionn for him at this point? Contact NewEgg and explain the deal to them or contact Saphire instead?

Any suggestions?

~peace

PS his card is a Saphire Radeon 9600Pro 128mb.

I would contact Saphires customer support or Ati's customer support.

I would contact newegg, I think they might replace it.

If not them, then ATI or saphire.

I don't think Newegg will do much after 4 months, but let us know if they do.
