Hi guys (and gals),

New forum member, just wondering if anyone else has had issues getting MBM to report correct voltages from this board?

I have set my voltage sensors to the "ITE8712F - Standard 4" option to get the closest readings, but the negative rails are still a little off...

Is this just an issue with MBM (the developer does mention that the voltage readings may be inaccurate due to converting from hex)...

Anyways... keep the good stuff coming...

Cheers...

Welcome to the Forums Etherboy!

I use Standard 4 as well and don't worry too much about the negative rail readings.

Others here use Aida or Speedfan, I believe some Aida users have said it reads voltages more closely but I'm happy with MBM5

Standard 4 not so bad, but Shuttle SB61G is better ;)

But not so good for me and I edited <my_mbm5_dir>\Data\Voltages.ini to get more accurate readings:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
[ITE8712F]
VT=12
...
....
...
V12=Shuttle AN35N-Ultra
V12V1=$20/62.1116 // CPU Core
V12V2=$21*0.016 // AGP
V12V3=$22*0.0161 // +3.3
V12V4=$23*0.02693 // +5.00
V12V5=$24*0.06425 // +12.00
V12V6=(($25*0.016)+(-3.299555556))*5.142857143 // -12
V12V7=$26*0.0161 // Chipset
V12V8=$27*0.02613 // +5VSB
V12V9=$28*0.01565 // Battery

All voltages checked with digital voltmeter. Accuracy of ITE8712/MBM5 varies for different mobos and this my settings can be corrected with simplest voltmeter. For my mobo differences between MBM5 and voltmeter always within 3% with this settings.

MBM5 always reports my Vcore to be 1.63 when I have my bios set to 1.675. I don't worry about it since 1.63 is a lower voltage.

Mines set to 1.8V and MBM5 reads 1.78V, which is close enough for me, last I knew the AN35N undervolts the missing .02V anyway so that should be just about right.

I'm using the shuttle SB61G option as well and it seems to report voltages closer to those reported by the bios and sandra.

New adjustment

I switched to standard 1 for temps and standard 2 for volts. Better match with sandra and bios on my +12V which is 11.77V at idle. I need to buy a multimeter and see for sure.

My multimeter reads SB61G's Vcore reading at .2 lower than actual which is still closer than standard 2's results so I stand corrected.
