what settings should i use with my PC3200CL DDR400?

I'm wondering what i should have my ram set at? it is at 2-3-3-6 as i copied from the Ram Guy at corsair.

I have Corsair XMS 2x512 PC3200CL DDR400 in dual channel on my NF7-S board with a AMD Athlon XP Barton 3000+ running at 209x11.5 @2404mhz with 1.7vcore, 2.75 vdimm, 1.6vagp.

should i run it 2-3-3-8?

Try 2-2-2-11; those are the tightest/best settings you could run. If you have LL sticks, that shouldn't be a problem. If you have newer sticks (anything besides 1.1), it'll be CH5 so you'll probably end up at 2-3-2-11

i bought mine around little after thanksgiving of 2003, how do i know more about my stick? is it on the stick itself, or is there a program to read it? to know if its CH5 or 1.1

There's a sticker on the heatspreader that'll tell you the revision. I'm pretty sure you'll have 1.2 or later.
