View Full Version : Overclocking a cellery433
I am trying to overclock a cellery 433 on a Asus P3V133 m/b with no success. It won't POST at all if I set the jumpers on the board at anything other than a 66 mhz FSB. Anyone ever had success with this combo???

I'm not familiar with that board, but you could look in the bios for "speed error hold", if you have this, disable it. look in your manual for for things that might impair your attempts to clock your system, and could you set your board to be adjusted thru the bios? it would be more usefull, and less frustrating. look for a "coppermine" jumper in the bios manual if your cellie is a coppermine, you might have to enable a jumper for overclocking to work.
I wish I knew more about the board you mention, but alass, all I really have experience with is either no name boards, or Abit boards.
Are you using the latest VIA drivers? this could make the difference.
Sorry I couldn't be more help

I do not have experience w/ that board but I run a Cely 433 @ 540, stock voltage (6.5 x 83). I have run it on two differnent soyo boards; BX and Apollo chipsets.
As far as I understand, the theoritical core limit of the 433, Mendicino core is 550MHz. I have not been able to achieve anything higher than 540 but haven't tried to "burn in" the processor.
Unless your mobo only makes jumps from 66 to 100 to 133, you should be able to get something out of that puppy!
