Vdimm Mod for A7N8X Del Rev 2

Has anyone tried the volt mod for memory? I noticed the chip leads are so tiny, I have no clue how to attach/solder a wire.

If you have successfully attached the wire to chip, please share that with us.

The test leads or grabbers that I bought were too big. Not small enough for the tiny leads on IC. I just ordered the SMD Grabbers from Mouser.com. This should do the trick.

i've got the mod on my board, used Pomona smd grabbers model 5520

you'll need a multimeter to read the voltage though, very easy mod, same as vcore mod

It is the same as the 5520. This website is an excellant source to order because there is no minimum charge. It's like newegg, they will email a confirmation order and UPS tracking #.

I do have a multimeter and plan to add a switch and digital volt display for Vdimm. I plan on "switching it on" for gaming and revert back to normal voltage for normal use. There is no reason to constantly add the extra juice on my memory.
