Hi, I recently found out who makes my motherboard, and it is made by ANAHEIM. I think that is how it's spelled, at least that is close to the company name. But anyway, I can't find there website. I have to find there website because this computer didn't come with a mother board manual for some strange reason. So if anyone has heard of this name, and knows the website, then please tell me what it is, as I am ready to over clock as soon as I study my new computers motherboard. Thanks

Try this http://sysopt.earthweb.com/mboard.html . They have links to a lot of mobo manufacturers.

Good luck,
Dave

Is this a system that you built from components, or is it a large OEM (ie. Dell, Gateway, Compaq, etc.). I would suspect that if it's a large OEM box, that the info available would only be what they want you to know, probably due to support issues.

Can you provide us any additional info about your box?

Dave

Yeah, it is indeed an Original Equipment Manufacture. It was put together by emachines. The motherboards model is an Anaheim3. That is why I thought it was made by anaheim. Lets see, it the box has two front slots and 4 slots in the rear, 3 PCI, and one doesn't even have a slot behind it. 256 ram max DIMMS. A built in graphics card. Built in sound card. That is about all I can think about right off the top of my head here is a direct link to a picture of my motherboard also

Let me know if you need any specific information, and I can find it. Thanks

You could try e-mailing the company that makes the board or e machines. Since it's an OEM machine there may not be a manuel for it. Usually MB's designed for OEM machines are made with the bare minimum of features and the possibility that the consumer may want to fiddle with the computer after they buy it is rarely taken into consideration.

I had a HP, I hated for these reasons, so I gutted it. =]

ohh, well I have another computer, and it has a motherboard manual with it. It is an OEM as well. I guess emachines are supposed to be more for the simple computer user that just wants to get online, and doesn't really know anything about what goes on inside the computer. I was debating as weather or not to build my own, but I have never done it before, and knew I would probably run into problems, so I decided to buy an OEM computer. I am going to a technical college in september, and am going to major in computer hardware/networking. I was supposed to start May 9th of this year, but I didn't have enought money, so I decided to wait a little longer. But by then, I will be able to build a computer. Btw, I don't know if any of you could help me out or not, but since I am going to college, and really can't afford it, I am thinking of making a webpage for people to donate money to help me pay for college. It will be about 21,000 dollars total, because it is a 2 year strait technical college. If anyone here would make a donation if I do make a site like this, please let me know, because Im not going to build it if I can't get alot of people to visit it. Thanks
