Just got 1gb of mushkin lvl 2 3500

My new ram came today I got one of nutrends last sets of lvl2. I pop them in my pc with stock settings and turn it on. My monitor wont even show anything and my bios says cpu overclock failed blah blah. So I pop one of the chips out and try again and it boots fine. I switch the chips and try the other one and same thing wont boot. I tried it in my roomates pc and same thing wont boot. Nutrend is now out of stock and unless they have some set aside for rma's im screwed. Im gonna contact mushkin tomorow and see if they can just exchange the bad chip cause I dont have any other ram so i dont wanna send both chips back if I dont have to. Man i was so excited when my ram came.
