View Full Version : Tualatin modding
I am attempting to do the mod that allows tualatin cores to run in non-tualatin boards, but painting those pins with a nail is a pain in the arse. Anyone have any tips/suggestions?

use a bristle from a paint brush or a needle wrapped with thread

Try asking in the "Intel CPU's" section of the forum. You'll probably get a better response.
Could a moderator please move this then?
The major problem seems to be that I paint it too thick, and it won't drop into the socket like normal processors do. Applying pressure scrapes the polish off. Maybe I should pull the top part of the socket off and try to drimmel the holes. Any thoughts?

I popped up the zif cover and wrapped the pin catch with scotch tape for the bsel mod.
