Keyboard doesnt work after time

Mobo - A7N8X2.0 non deluxe
bios- 1007 Uber goodness, problem existed with 1003 bios.

About 3 minutes after clearing the CMOS, my keboard lags horribly than fails. This is acompanied by beeping that is related to my keystrokes. The keyboard is fine. I have tried both USB and PS2 keyboards and the problem still resides.

RMA is a last resort.

try to reflash your bios with clean procedure with the lastest one from asus site 1007
