Ok, so technically the only cD0 stepping P-III chips currently available are the 866, 933, and 1000 MHz processors. These are all 133 FSB chips and the rest of the P-III lineup is being dropped from production (a moment of silence, please). Is this really the end of the wonderful P-III 700? Did Intel really kill one of their best chips?
WELL, isn't the new cD0 933 really a new and improved version of the ol' beloved 700 CPU. Look at the multiplier of 7X...same as the 700E. My guess is that the cD0 933 will be even better than the famous 700. If I decide to do another processor upgrade before going to the P-4, I'll either get one of these cD0 933 or better yet, the P-III 1 gig slug with it's 7.5X multiplier.
