Abit IT7 Max 2 board has no legacy ports, all USB. Would a PCI parallel port card transfer data slower or faster to my printer than the USB? Thanks. :)

Parallel port would transfer data slower, but the limiting speed would be the printer printing the page ;) I'd say go with USB.

And where is the phrase in your sig from? I read that in an Anne Mcaffrey book but I think it was quoted...

I think its originally from the Bible.

...besides, if using win2K or XP, parallel port support is *very bad*. I switched from parallel to USB because of that... slow print and CPU busy...

Ecclesiastes 3:1. The Byrds made this and following verses into a very popular song in the 60's. "Turn, Turn, Turn"
