Intel 865 PERLK: CPU Compatibility Question

I currently have a PIV 2.0A Ghz chip running some Corsair XMS PC2700 memory..

Does this motherboard supporting running asyncronous .. such as running an 800 FSB CPU, while the memory runs at 533(133) Mhz?

What brand and model motherboard are you asking about? Or do you mean just the i865 chipset mobos in general? I know for a fact that Asus and Abit mobos with the i865 chipsets will allow the RAM to run at various ratios including letting you run PC2700 with an 800 bus CPU.

It is an Intel brand board.. the D865PERL.

I did find my answer on the Intel web site..

If I run an 800 FSB CPU, I can run PC3200, or PC2700.
If I have PC2700(333 Mhz), Intel stated the memory will run at 320 Mhz.. something about latency or something of that matter
