What do you recommend?

I have an Abit BM6 PPGA mobo with 128 MB of PC100 ram. It has a 300 mghz Celeron that has run at 450 mghz for the past two years. I want more speed but am low on bucks. If I were to only change the cpu and fan what cpu/fan would you recommend? What speeds could I expect with this setup? Thanks in advance.

emm.. if $95 is affordable, you could get a PPGA P3 700 processor. Your mobo should support it no problem.
