560ohm fixed x2 = 1120 ohm fixed?

I have a packet of 560 resistors but no 1M ohm resistors, can i just use 2 560s?

wouldn't it be 560 of 560 when using 2?

If you add the resistors in series, then you add the sum of resistance.

If you add 2 resistors in parallel, then it is half the resistance.

To answer your question, in series it will be 1.12 M ohms.
