tell me the bad points about this kinda tubing


i like it because it is easy to bens(doesn't kink)

but are the bad points?

tried looking in the forums but all i found is people saking who has what tubing and such

Iv'e just completed some in depth reaserch on this subject.

The stuff that everybody thinks is silicone tubing is actually natural latex rubber tubing

The main reason it's not used is because it's butt ugly. That dull amber color doesn't fit to many color schemes.

It's also said that it's slightly porous. I don't belive that because like, it's rubber dude.

but natural latex tubing....what is the downside. it's like using a condom right? very safe (just no spermacide)

No real downside, just ugly. If you're not concerned with aesthetics, go for it.

i think i will i wanna get 1/2 tubing for my set up i saw some at home depot i think it bends easy and it will stretch too

And yes, it is slightly porous. So you'll loose some water over time. And additives tend to discolor it quickly.. I'm using it now, but got some clearflex to replace it with as soon as I get my new radiator..
