Khx3200k2

What the hell happened to memory prices.
I got 2x256 Kingston KHX3200K2 about 2 months ago for $124, now they wanting $170 for it. I dont really wanna get the 3200a2 since Ive heard its slower then the k2 and I got 2x256 k2 in system right now. Are prices going to go back down anytime soon?

Supply and demand dictates price and the demand is high for certain sticks so the price increases accordingly.
