MachI and setup questions

I need your help with the heating element and the reset switch in the MachI.
This is a new kit I got and I do not know much about it, So I appreciate your help.

- I installed the heating element to the back of the Mobo as suggested in the manual. My MachI does not had a plug for it, so I plug the heating element to the molex in the PSU. Is this a correct procedure. Shoud there be a plug for the heating element within the machI?

I have pluged the reset by-pass connector as in th manual. Now every time the computer hangs, I need to turn
everything of wait 2-3 minutes and re-start system. The reset button does not because the MathI is governing it.
If I get another PSU plugged to the matchI, Do I need to use the reset switch bypass? does it need to get the 12volts from the PC's PSU?

-Also, Is it ok to play with the controller's settings?

Just plug the heater into the psu. For the reset you can do this mod. (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=264031) There is no need for reset button you turn the MachI on and wait till it gets down to temps then start your computer. I personally havent play with settings at all.
