You can't. Multipliers are locked by Intel via the circuitry and it's impossible or it would've been hacked a long time ago.

FSB is all you have to work with.

we should have a warning at the top of the page to all intel overclockers telling them that they cant change the multiplyer

I'm not so sure it's an issue of "we can't" but moreover an issue of "we're not sure how to". Intel sets the multiplier. However, posts in the past have mentioned a chip that arrived damaged to the end user and was partially unlocked.

I believe it was in Germany?? The person then removed additional chips (transistors?) from the bottom of the processor and completely unlocked it. Nobody has been really willing or able to remove parts from a perfectly good working CPU. I think someone tried but did permanent damage.

Wanna be the first???

you can't unlock it. Some intel engineers have said a laser shot through a certain part of the chip would allow you, but of course, they don't tell us where. The only Intel chips that are unlocked are the engineering samples.
