View Full Version : Coppermine for P3V4X
Hello!
I just wonder if PPGA socket 370 and P6C(Coppermine) PIIIE(B)500- is fully compatible with my P3V4X.
And a Sisoft Sandra guestion; Warning W2533, Disabled host controllers are present, check BIOS settings. What have I to check and where in the BIOS?
Thanks for answer

Yes your board is coppermine ready, and I would suspect that your "controler issue" is probably your ATA66 controler, and I wouldn't know where to look in the bios, although I would look in either "chipset features" or Bios features.
I have never seen an Asus bios, so I don't know where to look, but if you do not have ata66 enabled, and are running win2k, you would have to reinstall to get ata66 to work, and even then it might not...but if it is win98, then it's not a big deal, and is relatively easy

I have the same messages from Sisoft Sandra because of my HighPoint Ultra66 controller(s) are not recognized by Sisoft. They are working fine, it's an unrelated issue... that sounds like the same thing you're experiencing.
