I have a SuperMicro P6DLE motherboard; dual slot 1, 440LX chipset, bus speed up to 75, running dual PII-266, 512MB (4x128MB) Pc133 SDRAM.
I have been told that this system will recognize the PPGA style of chip, but not the FCPGA; is this true?
If true, is the 533 chip the highest speed PPGA chip I can get?
If true, since the bus only goes to 75, should the 533 chip overclock to 600 without many problems?
What brand of slot adapter do I need to get to be able to run dual Celerons and overclock?
What brand of heatsink/fan would cool the best (in this case) for overclocking on a budget?
If true, would I be better off (speed and memory wise) to get a pair of PII-333's and overclock them (if possible).
Is the PII mulitplier locked liked the Celeron?
Which is better for CAD, 533 with 128K or 333 with 512K?
What brand of heatsink/fan would cool the PII-333 the best (in this case) for overclocking on a budget?
I'm confused, which is better for me since I have a very small budget?
Thank you.

CHECK THE SPECS AT THEIR WEBSITE... PROBABLY TRUE, AND I'LL RESPOND TO THE REST ASSUMING THIS IS SO...

If true, is the 533 chip the highest speed PPGA chip I can get?

YES, 533 (KATMAI CORE) IS THE FASTEST- - FCPGA IS THE COPPERMINE CORE, WHICH IS INCOMPATABLE WITH OLDER MOTHERBOARDS...

If true, since the bus only goes to 75, should the 533 chip overclock to 600 without many problems?

YES, THAT MATH IS CORRECT. 600 IS VERY ATTAINABLE, BUT THE OUT-OF-SPEC BUS SPEED MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH THE PCI CARDS -- BE WEARY

What brand of slot adapter do I need to get to be able to run dual Celerons and overclock?

I HAVEN'T HAD MUCH EXPEREINCE WITH SLOT ADAPTERS, ASUS AND IWILL MAKE SOME RELATIVELY POPULAR AND STABLE MODELS

What brand of heatsink/fan would cool the best (in this case) for overclocking on a budget?

YOU NEED DECENT COOLING, AT BEST -- INTEL STOCK FANS MAY SUFFICE -- THE HEATSINK WILL BE THE MOST IMPORTANT COMPONENT -- THE FAN VERY SECONDARY HERE. I SUGGEST CASE COOLING FOR THE BEST RESULTS.

Thank you.

For a dually system, I would suggest the MSI 6905 slotket. One of the best adaptors, and arguably the best for SMP. :)
