I was wondering how Intel chips stacked up to AMD's. Get mathmark here, and post your results:

ken, that is kinda a strange score...my t-bird 1.2 ghz @ 1.44 ghz gets about 37 seconds. And the processor is the only good part in the system.

The test is all cpu-memory. If you are running your memory at cas-3 thats probably why.

besides running at cas 2 make sure you have 4 way interleave enabled, also there may be other settings in BIOS that you can tweak to get better benchmarks get sisandra and keep tweaking and running the memory benchmark until you cant get your scores any higher. goodluck

Your right it is a little strange. That score of 41.9 should be higher for 1605mhz. This was on a Asus A7V133. I did some more testing and droped the cpu in one of my Abit KT7A-R mobos. Since this test was done only with air cooling I could only run at 1500 and the score improved quite a bit now at 35 seconds! I also tested the cpu back on the Asus at 1500 to verify and the scores were even worse. This does not say much for th A7V133. I will have to look for a new bios update and see if the problem can be solved. The Abit boards always did feel a little snappier then the Asus A7V133 even with a lower clocked cpu.
